CIP-008 (Jackcoin Mining) Jackcoin POW mining introduces orphan and adopted blocks. Mining more than 3 blocks consecutively will cause subsequent blocks to become orphaned. Orphaned blocks are available for adoption after 288 blocks have passed. Anyone can adopt an orphaned block.

CIP-009 (Jackcoin Mining) Jackcoin POW mining has its second mass scalability update allowing thousands of miners to connect and PROP pool mine Jackcoin simultaneously. Pools share rewards proportionate to pool members hashrates. Introducing 2 pools to start: PLEBS POOL: A pool named for low hashrate (1 THs) miners. SOLAR POOL: A pool named for miners using solar energy.
